18. The American Taliban.

I don't have any in my family. I don't have anyone who goes to church regularly in my family. But then, we were recent immigrants to the USA.

4. Religious bullies

Shove your dream of a Christian Theocracy into the dustbin !!!

No one is FORCING anyone to have an abortion.

No one is FORCING anyone to marry their own gender.

I am sick and tired of these religious bullies.

Freedom to choose.

Equality for all.

5. The largest persecution has come to me through those professing to be "christians".

Jesus has taught to love one another, to lend a helping hand, to preach the gospel to others. What I found while attending church was hate preached from the pulpit. I do not attend this church any more. The only unrest will probably come from these church members who think their lot in life is to harm others which do not vote or think the way they do. Look at Westboro Baptist, they disrespect families of our military who are mourning the loss of their loved ones. This is persecution in real life. What a shame to deface Christianity with their poor choices.

8. A message from enemy headquarters

They will not stop trying to destroy this country until they either succeed or have no power left.

Which is it going to be, America?

No, stop and think about it for a minute. This one is important.

20. Reluctantly, I will have to agree with you.

The word "they" is a little broad. If "they" means the wacko far right fringe who carry or are carried by the religious far right, then yes, it is a fact that they will not stop. But then, that's all it takes to create a monster that can cause a lot of ugly, just the fringe. The less fringe religious right are less of a direct problem but just as much to blame because they will allow it.

My apologies to the religious people who support freedom and civil rights but I still have to say that I believe religion poisons everything.

10. The Christians will not be persecuted by anyone. No one give a Damn what they

are doing with their lives. But, if the continue to try to overthrow the Government and replace it with a Theology, there is going to be resistance.

I have noticed that when abusers, such as the right wingers, are prevented from continuing their abusive behaviors, they invariably feel that they have been abused by not allowing them to meddle in the affairs of others.

15. Very good point!

Your post gave me a sudden mental image of the pepper spray cop going down a line of protesting fundies, and letting them all have it.

I'll believe it when I see it.

14. Somehow we need to remind

these mental midgets that their god is not in our Constitution, no matter what the likes of David Barton claims.

Their religion, as they enforce it, has no authority on speaking about morality when speaking about denying citizens the right to marry, the right to have control over their own body, and even the right to be free of their god's influence.

I have had quite enough of these self-righteous, arrogant fools. You go ahead and build your bomb shelters, buy your survival rations from Glen Beck, and stock up on your ammo. Spending your money there will keep you occupied and away from the sane people in the country.

16. Poor persecuted minority,

hiding in the catacombs, being fed to lions, wanting only to worship in peace, to render unto Caesar what is Caesar's and to care for the poor and unfortunate with what is left as they were commanded to do by the Son of God.

22. All myth, all made up non-history.

Funny thing to me is that Jesus as the biblical person, never exited. He was a politically manufactured entity by mostly Romans. But then no one wants to discuss that one.

17. Is this what is called Christian these days

Christians in name only. It's people like these that give Christianity a bad name. The Fascist theocracy that Bachman and friends want did not come about yet. lets keep it that way.

19. Keep Religion out of the State

Just because its says so does not make it true. Keep these insane and power hungry people away from the halls of power. Freedom of Religion means Freedom from Religion.
