Most disturbing climate change video I have seen.

This has to become number one priority. We don't have much time left.

1. What you can do

Join 350.org.

Bill McKibben, founder and leader of 350.org, is now traveling around the country on a "Do the Math" tour to build the movement.

"Math" is a reference to the simple arithmetic that the problem boils down to: Burning all known reserves of fossil fuel would put into the atmosphere 5 times the amount of carbon that would push Earth's atmospheric temperature up the 2 degrees that the speaker was talking about.

The Do the Math tour starts the day after Election Day. To see if it will be stopping somewhere near you, go to http://math.350.org/. Buy tickets. Tell your friends. We need to build a movement that can't be ignored.

2. This is an excellent video. Thanx for posting. But I wish they would stop with the background music,

except maybe during the credits.

It's distracting.

3. It took RepubliCONS only 4 short years to convince most Americans,

Even some smart economists and a few liberals, that the budget deficit will destroy our American way of life (a real hoax). Obama even buys into it. Only 4 years ago Dick the Cheney was going around saying deficits don't matter. Yet in only 4 short years, most every American politicians acts as if a budget deficit is the end of the world.

Why can't we do the same thing for climate change which will actually have a real destructive effect?

4. Don't worry be happy

Enough humans will starve to death from drought and famine in the next few years that climate changing emissions will be reduced to the level neccessary to bring the climate back to normal.
That's combined with all the other casualities from war, revolution and general chaos.

Have a nice day!

5. The sun does the heating; but it was man who put down the "chemical blanket" ......

which traps more and more heat. Thats how easy it is for puny man to change the climate.
