1. The reason Texas is blue on the map
|
There are more 7-11s found our big cities than in the rural towns. In the 2008 election Obama won the majority of our biggest cities/counties: Austin/Travis, Dallas/Dallas, Houston/Harris, San Antonio, El Paso etc. McCain won Ft Worth (which is big) and the majority of the rural towns. It's great that their cup poll is accurate and President Obama is in the lead, but it's not very scientific and doesn't really represent a 'whole state' like Texas. |

2. That's a cool video ... but they have 2000 and 2004 mixed up.

At least with who they're displaying as opponents. Bush faced Gore in '00, not '04 ... that was Kerry!

3. I only caught that subconsciously at first

I saw the photo flip, but only registered it as being somehow "weird" without actually identifying why. Then I was lust too lazy to figure out what I was really looking at. Pathetic, lol.
Good catch, DI. |

4. The president is also ahead in rubber halloween masks!
|
According to Rev. Al Sharpton, this has been a reliable predictor in the last few elections.
