It will NEVER happen. Rmoney has sealed his destiny. His campaign has been nothing but a train wreck from day 1. Rachel didnt even mention the loss of the female vote. They're gone and will never come back. As for no one asking for your birth certificate, no one has asked, because everyone knows you WON'T need it.

The only way the republicans can "win" the election is by stealing it, rig it and other vice cheat they way to power - and I would not hold it behind them to do exactly that either...

Strange to say it but George W. Bush being elected was probably the best thing to happen in this country.
No, not because of his destructive policies but because of his fatal damage to the Republican Party & this 'Conservative' coalition that has been building since 1964.

Without him, I doubt we would have seen Barack Obama as the President of the United States.
Republicans were so damaged in the wake of Bush that they ran John McCain & that dumb bimbo Sarah Palin.
Obama just walked right into the White House after that.

With Obama in office, the bigots picked up from the Southern Strategy became unglued & helped the Republican Party lose any illusions of nuance & subtlety. It was no time to go soft in their eyes. Obama must be defeated by any means necessary!!
Imagine if Obama didn't go in half-assed. They REALLY would have lost it!

That Tea Party charade was allowed to take over in 2010 & each one from that faction has self-destructed.
They were in no shape to run a credible candidate in 2012 & the Republican primaries proved it.
They were stuck with bland Mitt Romney & nobody could get past him so they relented (most of 'em anyway).

In order to assuage their fears, Romney had to go hardcore to the base.
In doing so, he underlines the power of the White bigots who have been mad ever since the military was desegregated in the 1948 & LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act in 1964.
That has become a fading power as more Whites check the bigotry they have learned from the culture & strive to see fairness for all people.

This election is the final test to see if going hardcore White (more specifically hardcore White male) will win elections on the national stage.
The Republicans will fail the test & Obama will receive his 2nd term.
They have alienated many of their White women trying to appeal to bigoted White men.
The demographics of the country ensure that Obama will win re-election.
I hope he uses that victory as a mandate to turn the country in a Progressive direction for decades to come.
