whether he has a plan that "will help build a stronger middle class."

Here's just three examples:
1. Regardless of the excuses, we know which President extended the Bush tax cuts for the super-rich which would have otherwise just expired on their own.

2. Also, regardless of the excuses (such as "We don't have the votes.&quot , we know which President did not revise or even make any effort to revise NAFTA.

3. Some of us also know, that the Obama Administration is currently working out the details before signing another let's-send-even-more-jobs-to-foreign-countries "free-trade" agreement. Rmoney even supports him on this one, as does the right-wing Chamber of Commerce.

Trans-Pacific negotiations have been taking place throughout the Obama presidency. The deal is strongly supported by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the top lobbying group for American corporations. Obama's Republican opponent in the 2012 presidential elections, Mitt Romney, has urged the U.S. to finalize the deal as soon as possible.

If anyone is going to provide opposition to the pending job-transferring "free-trade" agreement, it may be the Democratic Senators. It is not going to be the presidential candidates. This may be our last chance to influence and vote for Democratic Senators who might vote against the pending job-transferring "free-trade" agreement.

I'll vote for him over Rmoney. But we are going to get more of the same thing that we got during the last 3 1/2 years. This is as good as it gets for what is left of the American class. There is no way that anyone can seriously believe that he has a new-and-improved plan to help the middle-class unless they disregard the facts and his performance during the first term.

and that would have HURT the middle-class at a time when we were still in a recession.

If you can't see that Obama was forced into the extension then I don't know what to say to you.

The problem is NOT President Obama it is the Republicans in the Congress that are the problem.

We need to take back The House and put more Democrats in The Senate - that is the solution.

super-rich.

The same logic can be applied to justify the next extension.

After the next extension of the tax cuts for the super-rich is signed, the same logic that you provided can be repeated at that time:

If those tax-cuts weren't extended for the rich then the ones for the non-rich would have expired and that would have HURT the middle-class at a time when we were still in a recession.

It's a sure thing. All we have to do is wait.

We'll be lucky if more taxpayer-supplied funds are not transferred to the super-rich in another bail-out.

What A.M. wrote was true. Instead of trying to rebut it, you made a snide, idiotic, authoritarian comment. What's your excuse?

The statement itself is lacking and then critical. I am not wasting anything more on this.

8. Surge 260,000 troops, Support NDAA, Support torture, Sign more Free trade, Cut Social Security...

Many forget that Mr. Obama had already sent 130K troops to Afghaistan before he sent another 130K troops that he admitted to in the media. Now Mr. Obama is saying that we will be in Afghainistan until 2018.

Mr. Obama also supports torture and backs the NDAA arrest of Americans (with no probable cause , indefinite detention and no attorney allowed.)

Mr. Obama brought in his Social Security attack dogs of Alan Simson and Pete Peterson... a situation that years ago would be unheard of in Dem circles?

I'm not trying to make a point. I'm sorry I even have to mention it. ..... I will vote for Obama because ,clearly, Romney/Ryan is not a choice.

I'm Just saying...Mr. Obama has let me down. Sure I want my ponies and rainbows.. but extending a useless war until 2018 and gutting Social Security... I don't consider these "pony" issues.
