"Who Rules America? Power in the New Millennium." Ralph Nader vs Newt Gingrich debate

This debate took place almost ten years ago. This is relevant to what is happening today in OWS and to the fact that
Newt Gingrich is the current frontrunner in the Republican polls.

Very relevant...with a few surprises.

A slightly different Newt...and Ralph called him out on some good current talking points, ie: child labor...corporate donations to campaigns...

Worth the time...I sorted through a pile of mail!

I liked the format they used. The moderators got out of the way and let them get at each other. That demomstrates
that if you ask serious questions and get of the way, the progressive talking points will prevail over the corporate
conservative double speak. Newt either had to agree with Nader or to look like the lying hypocrite he really is.

both men were strangely prescient.

gingrich's use of paul wellstone as an example of a senator who was not supported by the plutocracy of his state is spooky.
