Fashion by Famine: Clothing manufacturers exploit the poor



Bangladesh is one of the places where international clothing manufacturers go for low labor costs. Workers in the factories of these international corporations suffer from poverty level wages, and inhumane working conditions - including a lack of safety regulations.

Instead, when one country's workers demand raises or better working conditions, the manufacturers move elsewhere.
