OP
This is almost impossible for a 17 year old to do. A person would passout before killing themselves

Guns are out. Like the suspect who got away from four Houston cops with his hands cuffed behind ....

What's really tragic is that he thought his life was over when he only would have gotten probation.

It sounds like it, but it's not unusual. That happens a lot - "I got caught, life over."

You have to give the police credit for imagination and creativity. This incident makes at least two

his back and "jumped" into a canal to get away by swimming. This guy was afraid of the water. So I say, "strangled" himself, riiiigggghhhhhhht.

That's not a serious crime. Most such cases are suspended sentences with probation. That's not a good reason for suicide.

Seriously? You think he killed himself?

I don't know about his previous record, if he had one, but usually the juvenile courts will take things into consideration and just breaking in to steal booze or something (no weapons reported) will get you probation. It's just sad. And no, I don't think the cops killed him. I just think they left him alone too long.

very bizarre stories of suicide while in custody.
