Thank God for Stephen Colbert (mocks Steve King's nonsensical defense of dogfighting)

how else to respond to people like King? Mocking is the only way, and no one's better at that than Colbert.
On his show Tuesday, Comedy Central host Stephen Colbert shared that he’s had it with animal rights groups, and so he’s quite pleased that “haunted ice sculpture” Rep. Steve King is taking a stand against being against dogfighting, as in the “classic Cinderella story” that ends in doggy death.
King hit back against animal rights groups by expressing his opinion that animals should not be valued above human beings, pointing out something about… child rape, kidnapping, forced abortions and swing sets? We, like Colbert, are still not entirely sure what he was getting at with that particular anecdote.
