1. That was a good interview!

I know many if not most DUers HATE even the mention of Rahm Emanuel's name but although he has done things in the past I disagreed with I actually like Rahm Emanuel.

2. 30,000 jobs

represents about 1% of the city's population. I'm glad Rahm is all excited about this, but I'll wait to see just how much this helps, in a global economy rendered precarious by the hedonistic machinations of the corporate megalomaniacs who've usurped our media, our politics, AND our global economy.

(I count Rahm among the pitiable sycophants who evince a Randian adoration of those paternalistic uber wealthy sociopaths...)

3. i think he is a very complicated person.

got some bs, and from what i know a real crank. but as you can see from this video, he has his democratic head on straight. and he knows how to reject the premise of a right wing question. i wish he would do a clinic for his brethren on that one.

honestly, i think that his heart is pretty much in the right place.
