we are experiencing today. This is yet another reason I gave up TV 3 yrs. ago. I had no idea TV news had gotten this blatantly virulent. It's so obviously transparent to me, having not watched this stuff for a while. And it's not just Fox news.

which explores more specifically how political forces use fear to sell wars, policy and products.

They certainly didn't shy away from visual examples of the violence they are talking about.

carrying guns for "protection" than ever before. And more than a few vociferously object to "Obama's gun policy." Yet not a single one can tell me what that policy is let alone what their objections are. Send your TV to the recycling center and get rid of your fear.
