Didn't those silly fools know that thick ice covered the Arctic Ocean since ancient times? No icebreakers could even make a channel through such thick ice. Only submarines could cross the Arctic Ocean by sailing under the ice.

Now shipping companies routinely take advantage of multiple open water routes across the Arctic. Russia and Canada want to collect fees for passage. And we are close to the day, perhaps this September, perhaps in a September a few years from now, when NO ICE remains anywhere in the Arctic Ocean.

(Man, when those Chinese pull a hoax, they sure go all out, don't they?)
