invented by one Duane Gish, an ardent supporter of the creationist movement who couldn't debate his way out of a wet paper bag even with a chainsaw in his hands. It involves a torrent of unrelated lies and half truths that don't provide any answer to the question at hand but when there is a weak moderator who doesn't call the user on it, can bog the opposition down in answering all the lies. It's the only technique the Republicans have in their arsenal and they have been using it well, moderators not doing their jobs to protect their "access."
