As an attorney i see jury's get it wrong many times in civil cases. When you see some people approach jury service on a mission, and there are several on each jury panel of 40-50 people, you know why many jury's get it wrong. When you speak to them after a case and hear why or what caused them to find the way they did it can be shocking.

I think life in prison is more harsh than the death penalty and there are do overs as the Innocence project has proven time and again. It is barbaric and no extra deterrent to murder.
