Hillary: Yes We Can
I know Hillary is probably getting all kinds of advice, but it's fun to imagine what I would advise her to do. So here I go!
1.) I would tell her to go positive and patriotic. Talk about her passion for children and families. Talk about her devotion to public service and her love of America. America is great bc America is good. Get her surrogates out there to attack Trump. I think it's unfair, but the perception when she attacks Trump is it's the pot calling the kettle black. It shouldn't be that way, but to the general, barely informed, voter that's how they see it. You can try to make them see that the system is rigged against her, but that's a tough sell. Instead let the surrogates smear and jeer him. They can go low and she can go high.
2.) I think she should adopt Obamas Yes We Can. I think it would be a strong way to signal to Obamas coalition that Hillary can continue Obamas legacy.
I would have them do a joint appearance and have him start the Yes We Can at the end of his speech and keep it going with Hillary joining in and continue the crowd cheers of yes we can.
