Ted Cruz refused to endorse Donald Trump during his RNC speech last night, a move that got him booed off the stage by the radicals in the crowd. But that’s even the weirdest thing about Cruz’s appearance in Cleveland. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.

that Trump had a copy of the speech earlier in the day and allowed Cruz to go ahead.

The upshot was that Cruz was booed while Trump looked magnanimous and unafraid by allowing him to go ahead. If this is true, I take it to be I take to be the result of the emotional intelligence of a dealmaker. Reminds of Reagan's moment "I am paying for this microphone" moment.

It the kind of thing Clinton needs to improve in the upcoming head-to-head campaign.
