(2,620 posts)the humor of this "joke":
"Dogs are great - suppose you lock both your dog & your wife in the trunk of your car. Who is going to be happy to see you after an hour?"
Now almost any guy - especially if he has a dog - is going to chuckle. From the ladies however, you'll get a mixed response (my wife doesn't think it's funny).
Sooo... if you don't see the humor in the above joke, you might re-consider your lampooning of the whiny comments to the video...
edit:
btw - the author is not advocating that either dogs or wives should actually be stuffed into the trunk to test their response...

(135,425 posts)to raise hackles, though. That's really just a joke about how shitty people are, and how nice (and sometimes unreasonably trusting) dogs are by comparison.
Let's sample that joke again from the other side of the street:
"Dogs are great - suppose you lock both your dog & your husband in the trunk of your car. Who is going to be happy to see you after an hour?"
It can go whatever way it goes...I'll bet males would get a bit miffy if they heard it put that way, too.

IOW - your movie could have easily been named "No women beyond this point".
See what I mean? Your movie is funny to me, but image a comedy scene in another movie where the guy (finally) opens his trunk to his happy, tail wagging dog, and a very unhappy wife - could you see the humor in that too?
