But I knew roads patrolled by state cops are absolutely targeted, And boy the fines are bad, but the insurance hikes are the real nightmare. I played poor old lady at a traffic trap a few years ago to get my moving violation changed to a stationary one and only had to pay a little and no insurance hike. I was going 4 miles over the limit (69 MPH instead of 65), but fines were doubled in the area and it could have cost me thousands.
