As for Senator McConnell, his lifelong opposition to any and all campaign finance reform doesn't earn him any credit for good intentions. Either he is too dense to know the difference between a campaign contribution on one hand and bribery and extortion on the other, or he doesn't care.

And speaking of thugs, what does Senator McConnell call the Brown Shirts bussed in by the Koch Brothers in the summer of 2009 to disrupt congressional town hall meetings hosted by Democrats favorable to health reform?
