(13,133 posts)Me thinks the pot be calling the kettle black. Another thing you might want to note is a person mostly doesn't make staff Sargent on one's first tour. I got out after my initial enlistment. I personally would classify what happened to him as an occupational hazard. That explosion also doesn't indicate to me any reason to be going to war or war type hostilities with anybody. And if there was war needing to be started because of hostile explosions then many places in our own United states could be a starting point with such twisted logic
Yet, of course, there is the old adage, when you place a hammer in a mans hand everything starts to look like a nail

(6,699 posts)...behind refined petroleum. I don't know for a fact, but I would guess those two are what keeps us competitive in the world today, economically. We import nearly everything else.
Anyone know where I might go to research this one?
War IS our business. If the world stops all the senseless killing and threatening each other, we would be hurting big time.
Israel is "our testing ground" for weapons. They slaughter Palestinians to test out the latest riot weaponry and mid range explosives, and we are having a field day in Africa and the Middle East today. Our major competitors are Russia, China, and a few European "socialist" governments.
War is good for business. Peace sucks.

Not in 2005. Iranian bomb? Bullcrap.
There's one way to prevent this: stay out of Iran.
Besides, what country is currently fighting ISIS the most?
Damn gullible wingers.

(57,936 posts)Have we been secretly fighting Iran? I think it is a valid question. Where and when was this soldier hit by an Iranian bomb?

Not a fucking thing.
It also has nothing to do with patriotism or fake Republican patriotism.

"Paid for by billionaires who want to appeal to your emotion, not your intelligence"
There should be a public service announcement at the end of every ad. Something!
This is only the beginning. Argh!

(57,936 posts)I don't know why a bomb made in Iran would have been used against our troops in Iraq.
The Iranians are Shiites, as I understand it, and they fought Saddam Hussein the same person we fought in the Iraq War. Iran has benefited more than any other country from our having fought in Iraq.
I don't understand why Robert Bartlett thinks that the bomb that injured him was Iranian.
We need more facts. I want to make it clear that I am not calling Robert Barrtlett a liar. I just want to know how he knows that what he states in that ad is true. If not, why does he say it.
