I agree, today's corporate studios squelch the creative vibe of my youth.

I never equate the 2 of them. My favorites from each are ,Jimmi Hendrix- Band of Gypsys live- Machine gun, and Carlos Santana -
Moonflower live.

when Fleetwood Mac was a British-based blues-based band? Their then-guitarist Peter Green had replaced Eric Clapton in John Mayall's band.

by many professional guitar players. He replaced Clapton in John Mayall's Blues Breakers when Clapton left to start Cream. Eventually he left John Mayall's band taking Mick Fleetwood & John McVie (drums & bass) and the result became Fleetwood Mac.

This was before the ladies joined the group. Peter Green has an interesting and sad story and is well worth exploring for his music and life story.

Mick gives us some insight into the Blues Breakers and the beginnings of Fleetwood Mac.

I have a bunch of old Mayall vinyl that includes all the above. As you know Mayall's blues band had some great guitar players—Peter Green, Eric Clapton and Mick Taylor.

This is just a little example of Mick Taylor's expertise.

This spooky tune just might be my favorite when all is said and done.
