The goal, as discussed here locally, is to get him out in front of large crowds where he IS known, to make the crowds larger and get the exposure on the MSM, and to get the MSM exposure he has to do ten times better than any mainstream politician, and he is.
As I discussed with local dem campaign people, while he may not be well known outside of certain areas, it is those areas where he is known and their large crowds and news coverage that will make him known so when he shows up in Charlotte or Dallas or Tacoma or Sacramento or Kansas City, he already has the exposure he needs to keep this going at this rate.
In my own case where I live there are far left liberals like myself who are working or trying to work for Bernie, but we are just now getting together and discussing what is happening.
I think there are going to be strong Hillary supporters and strong Bernie supporters and not sure who is going to go with who yet.
And I fear that I may not be able to work with the Dem HQ here locally, not sure yet, almost afraid to ask 
Have to find out who is running the local HQ and ask them, the usual people I talk to in the party are as confused as I am on this.
Some of them anyway.
