(56,371 posts)The Church of Latter Day Saints holds the Jewish people and Israel in very high regard, Russel Pierce's antisemitism is Russel Pierce's own personal wad of hate.
Any male who joins the LDS church and is baptized, is a priesthood holder as an elder. Baptism in the Church comes in one's teens or older. There are three levels of priesthood. Being an elder is the first level.
I left the Church (I was living Mesa at that time) finally over a priesthood meeting where the teacher said that a rifle was part of his years supply to take care of any "street apes" who might want to take that supply from him.
This is against Church teachings on a lot of levels, the Church is very much against racism (Africa is the fastest growing membership segment of the Church with South America following). And the function of a years supply is to take care of EVERYBODY around you (member or nonmember) who is in need. A few months later the Church came in and reorganized the stake (three wards met at this building) and changed the ward lines, replaced almost all the teachers and Bishops to bring teaching back under the Church's tenets of faith.

(56,371 posts)and the thing that outsiders who don't know is that everyone on this planet has free will to accept that baptism or refuse it. So they may well baptize a specific person who will not accept it. My problem isn't baptism of the dead. I don't think such a thing is necessary or means a thing to anybody but the LDS, its that it seems to get done multiple times for specific persons. It becomes not something for the dead individual, its become something for those specific Mormons standing proxy, to give a sort of self glorification for the person who stood in.

(325 posts)The link I gave was for Thursday night's show, where you can select segment by segment.
Other previous nights are available too..from the "latest" and "previous" and "most viewed" links at the top left area of the page.

(325 posts)If you can see it, select VIDEO, and then PREVIOUSLY and then select May 3, for the previous day to Friday.
If you cannot see the menu, perhaps it has to do with your browser or ad blocking software.

(2,846 posts)I see several, but they don't seem to be on J. Ready...
Does that clip have a title I could search?

(325 posts)seeing the entire screen the same way I am. I see those videos, but FURTHER to the left of those videos are menu items which I can click to select...taking me back to previous shows.
I don't know what type of device or what browser you are using.
I suggest just Google: here is a list of all video segments from that prior day.
When I put them in Google, the first in the list that comes up for me is the Rachel video segments with these titles.
"Neo-Nazi ties to AZ Republican characterizes immigration law"
"War on women spurs democrats to challenge party conservatives"
"Spies and spokesman ahead"
"Romney silent as staffer driven from job by religious right"
"Romney too afraid of religious right to stand up for spokesman"
"Chinese activist raises tensions between US, China"

(325 posts)So I would just ask them to "suck" off all those sperm children, and ask the women to blow out their eggs into some tissue, as most eggs get blown every month, (unless of course they have birth control pills, in which case, the women are not true Republicans).
