Papantonio:  Is Being Black Now a Criminal Offense?

Earlier this month, the Justice Department released a scathing report on Ferguson, MO. The report found that Ferguson racks up millions of dollars by targeting and harassing black residents with things like parking and speeding fines.

What the report didn’t say is that Ferguson isn’t alone in this practice. Cities all across the country are targeting black people to raise money.

Mike Papantonio discusses this with blogger Chauncey DeVega.

Ring of Fire.

Call me old-fashioned, but I still think that's tyranny.

every society that claims "capitalism" as its economic model places a greater burden on the lower classes....economically poor.....to sustain the society and the economy. The more impoverished the harder one has to work and the more they have to pay and the shorter their lives. And, working up the economic ladder....an economic/social meritocracy..... is a myth perpetuated by the rulers at the top who by a margin of .99999% were either born to wealth or inherited their position.

Show up in record numbers at the polls and fire those that don't treat all with dignity and justice. Losing elections is a known prime influencer to those in power. DeVega did a good job and needs to be heard by many more Americans, in print, audio, videos, etc. All lives matter.
