Seder: Florida Bans Talking About “Climate Change”

A recent report from the Florida Center for Investigative Reporting detailed how Florida’s Department of Environmental Protection barred its employees from using any phrase relating to climate change, including “climate change” itself. As Florida is one of the nation’s most vulnerable areas in concerns to climate change, one must question why the state is so eager to burying climate science at all costs. The answer? Money, of course.

Ring of Fire’s Sam Seder and author Cliff Schecter discuss this.

The only way to maintain this level of income inequality is through a police state.

The assumed corporate "right" to profits may also entail suppression of liberty such as some of the measures Sam enumerates in order to suppress information about corporate culpability in environmental or social damage.

Ultimately, as long as these assholes insist on the primacy of absolute freedom for corporations in the market place, they will eventually be forced to admit that they are destroying freedom in order to save it.
