2. Poor Jimmy had to Follow Obama
|
I would rate his performance only fair. He had some good zingers but his delivery was just average to even poor. He had to blame all the lines that bombed on Jake Tapper.

3. some good jokes in there

A few of them fell flat. I thought Boehner got hammered a few times in there as well.

4. I kinda thought Jimmy blew a goat or two.
|
He had his moments. It seems as if if he might have spent some time writing jokes with his once-BFF Sarah Silverman (whom I love but can be the raunchiest person on Earth).
Poor fucking KO, though. He sinks deeper into madness every day. Colbert should be made lifetime MC IMHO. |

6. Sarah Silverman?
|
Doesn't she have a new TV show in the works?
I think she would be wonderful doing a bit at the WHCD some day. It would drastically change the course of human history. Hopefully for the better. Some more of my profound and always self absorbed comments about Jimmy's performance: http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1017&pid=25047 -90% Jimmy I hope if she does get another show going she can reassemble the wonderful troupe she had from her last show. All such talented and sweet good natured people. |

9. Sarah and Jimmy were real tight for a while there
|
Sarah did a two-part episode in Star Trek the whatever generation (Captain Janeway, Seven of Nine). I've had a mad crush thread about her since at least that time.
Just not a big fan of Kimmel for no reason in particular. |

8. I thought Kimmel did a bang-up job.

Last edited Mon Apr 30, 2012, 04:55 AM USA/ET - Edit history (1) The rhythm of the comedy bit was really good. I especially loved his skewering of Allen "Jackass" West, Chris "NJ: The Olive Garden State" Christie, and Newt "Did The Check Clear?" Gingrich. And last but not least his closing "Eat it, Mills."
Good topical humor. Well done. |

10. That was really funny!
|
A couple of clangers, but I liked that he gently ribbed the Prez about his agenda and his "compromising" with the republicans...
"Hey Mr. Mills, I'm about to high-five the President of the United States.." |
