and not entirely true.

Overall, more Americans voted for Dems than for Repugs, so maybe gerrymandering is to blame?

Sure, you could counter that if more Dems voted in the gerrymandered districts, we would have won the House--but what about the Senate?

What would have made more Dems get up and vote?

Again, you may counter that we shouldn't require motivation. Why is that? Do we owe our votes to the party? I reject that idea, it's paternalistic and negative.

The real way to get more Dems to vote is to give more Dems something to vote for. Why do we ridicule trickle down economics but cling to trickle down partisanship? We give our votes to political 1%ers, and lie to ourselves that that influence will trickle down on the party and create populist engagement. It's a bullshit story which we should quit telling to ourselves...

Of course, you could also just keep driving your car till it runs empty, and then blame the car for not being able to run without fuel, or we could could take responsibility and add some fuel to the God damned tank.

Where was that 'youth vote' from 2008 in 2010 when he really needed them? Where were the tens of millions that voted for Obama?

They essentially made him a lame duck for the last six years of his Presidency. And let the GOP gerrymander like we have never seen gerrymandering before.

2012... Hey! They're back.

2014... 2010 redux.

What did they vote for in 2008 and 2012?

We need a President like FDR who was not afraid to barn storm the nation and use red meat rhetoric. Instead we got a President who is a Rogerian Facilitator. But lets not forget Obama'$ funding from Goldman Sachs in his first run.

Americans see themselves as ACTION FIGURES. Obama and the Dems instead became the role models of impotence. This was not because of John Boehner but because they gave away their chance for "Change We Can Believe In' when we had both houses of Congress.

Democrats could not pass a bill to against usury if they had 150 Senators in a Senate of 100. But then again they are so connected to Wall Street how could they vote against usury? Add the leadership of Obama who refused to become a fighter and you have the answer as to why we lost.

Americans will vote against their own self interest. But they will never vote against their own self concept - being "action figures".

Americans admire the GOP for over what 40 or 50 times ( I lost track) voting to overturn ObamaCare. They want ACTION even if it is against their self interest. Shutting down the Government made many Americans believe Austerity is the answer.

QUESTION: Why is the word "stimulus" a bad word? Because we do not have a leader as President like FDR.

Remember when unions were about to come back with CARD CHECK?
1. Why wouldn't Obama go on a barnstorming campaign to push for this via public opinion? For Good's sake man we had control of both houses of Congress.

2. Why didn't he use the Bully Pulpit to go after the Banksters?

3. Why didn't he call for massive investigation on how we got into debt with the fighting of a war in Iraq that never should have occurred? No instead he said we were going to turn the page!

Obama would not fight for Card Check to revive the unions. But our champion of CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN has no problem with pushing FAST TRACK for TPP while forgetting CARD CHECK!

Where was Obama when we needed him in Wisconsin? Why didn't he use his clout to make the case against the Koch brothers and Scott Walker? He promised to march with the unions. HE DID NOTHING!

At the last moment he sent a TWEET of support! OH Obama we Progressives are just not worthy of you!

As i mention in my website the CUT AND RUN CAPITALISTS are shipping our jobs, wealth and children's future to China while they and their fellow travelers, the Chinese Communists, sing their new song - "The GLOBALIZATION INTERNATIONALE". Where is Obama? He is pushing for TPP!

Note we have to up our usage of rhetoric else we become perceived as impotent. That is one reason why Obama has failed us. Not to mention ACTIVELY going against the progressive agenda as in TPP. Oh I just cannot wait for his "Grand Compromise" when he gives away the legacy of FDR. I thank God I voted GREEN in 2012. And if it means a GOP Congress and White House then so be it. I will not vote for Democrats who play "make believe liberal" inside the CORPORATE SANDBOX of their monied donor$.

For God's sake man stop making excuses for this guy!
