to each other we will combine in a few million years. Should be a fantastic sight. Wish I could be around! Hey who knows?

I think that's an awfully short amount of time.

I had it in my mind that our sun would burn out and become a red giant or something before we collide with another galaxy. And I thought our sun was only about half to 3/4's way through it's life.

I only plan on living for a billion maybe billion and a half years, myself.

Just like most teenagers and young adults, right? (I won't tell you I'm over 60.)

Yes, I thought the sun was going to blow itself out in 2-3 billion years or so.
