A shocking video of a New York City police officer beating a young man bloody has emerged. In the video, you can see a stupefied man who has been identified as 20-year-old Donovan Lawson, who allegedly jumped a subway turnstile, get hit hard over the head with a nightstick and thrown around while bleeding profusely.

though I was weighed down with both a full-sized briefcase AND a 24 by 18 by 4-inch suitcase style portfolio. The cops apparently got a call from the token clerk at the OPPOSITE end of the station from where I entered -- she vouched for me, fortunately.

the police department sent a detective to our house and two uniform cops daily to find my cousin. Everyday my aunt told them she didn't know where he was. I couldn't understand why they were after him like he was Jean ValJean.
