4. We are lucky in Milwaukee. Public radio on whad plays 3 hours of old time radio

from 8-11 every Sunday. Next Sun April 22 Whad will reinact 2 classic radio shows live - a Suspense and an Arch Obler episode.

6. NPR Must Do That in Different Places

I usually manage to turn it on during Johnny Dollar, Insurace Investigator.

I don't think a show on insurance investigation would fly any longer. Something must have changed in the national psyche.

I became an addict decades ago while overseas in the military, listening on the Far East Network.

My wife and I will certainly enjoy this as a welcome change from today's mass media.

10. lots of good OTR broadcasts on shoutcast as well..

i also downloaded an OTR app for my Android phone that has entire catalogs of shows.
