Hannity - the journalist - will defend his right to protect his sources. He'll never crack. He'll go to jail first to protect Zimmerman. Not!!!!!!!!!

Which would be an entirely legal and proper thing to do. There's no such thing as a media mouthpiece privilege under these circumstances - Hannity wouldn't be protecting a "source," and whatever Z told him isn't likely to be priveleged (The Florida reporter "shield" law is here: http://www.floridabar.org/DIVCOM/PI/RHandbook01.nsf/1119bd38ae090a748525676f0053b606/e8a24671dbdb7fdb852569cb004cab2f!OpenDocument ). If they decide to prosecute Zimmerman I would expect somebody to be on the first plane to New York with a subpoena with Hannity's name on it (there are procedures for issuing subpoenas in other jurisdictions).

Of course, there is also the fact that Hannity isn't actually a journalist.

He is also not protecting the source of a story he previously reported. Hannity is now a part of the case.
