Don't any of these climate change deniers have children and grandchildren? Honestly, if I were very young and starting over again, I believe I'd opt out of having kids. What a world we're handing off to them.

to protect their corporations and bonuses and stock options. For some, they know, they absolutely know they will be held accountable some day. They just want to delay that day of reckoning, kick the can down the road, so a future CEO has to shoulder the burden. The fact that they risk the existence of human civilization and perhaps of the species does not matter against protecting today's profit margins.

How much is human civilization worth? How much is it worth to prevent the extinction of the human race? There are people willing to risk those things for a few billion in profit in the short term.
