1. Envy. Kicking the fallen when he's down. Envy and avarice.

Cowardly aggression.

8. The Fallen?

Olbermann is hardly "The Fallen.". That implies that he's a some sort of a victim, when he's the one who keeps walking away from jobs for which he is paid extraordinarily well.

14. Newsflash: KO was fired from MSNBC

He may have pissed off the suits, and some of the things he did were surely provocative, but they fired him. Make no mistake about it. And, about 85% of it was because he wouldn't toe the corporate ideological line.

He was brilliant at his best, and infuriatingly pedantic when he wasn't, but before he brought Rachel on board and before he was fired, he was the best we had.

He deserves better than a gratuitous kick to the ribs from the likes of you. Pathetic.

15. He's not Dead yet

And even he's admitting that he's at fault:

From USA Today:

Keith Olbermann, who was fired by Al Gore's Current TV two days ago, stopped by to chat with David Letterman on Tuesday's Late Show and admitted, "I screwed up. I screwed up really big on this. Let's just start there."

He explained, "I thought we could do this. It's my fault that it didn't succeed in the sense that I didn't think the whole thing through. I didn't say, 'You know, if you buy a $10 million chandelier, you should have a house to put it in. Just walking around with a $10 million chandelier isn't going to do anybody a lot of good, and it's not going to do any good to the chandelier.' And then it turned out we didn't have a lot to put the house on to put the chandelier in, or a building permit, and I, I should have known that. And it is, it is my fault at heart."

have displayed your schadenfreude here. It was a really
low-class move. You'll probably never even get the chance to be fired
from the positions that Olbermann has held. You don't seem to be the type that
"works well with others" either, but at least Keith is almost universally recognized as
talented. I've viewed your videos. You're no Keith Olbermann.

I can't even refer to you as a "blowhard"...

You just blow.

5. NOT too Brite-horn?

And your point is WHAT, Mr. Not-too-Brite-horn? That Keith's ego is bigger than yours?... and that you're beet-red jealous? Perhaps, just perhaps, when someone says "Keith, you're gonna be half-partner at Current" it implies you'll have SOME control over your work environment? Ahhhhh Yes: But we must contrast those nasty angry egotistic Liberal commentators (like Keith Olbermann) with.....the quiet, humble, self-effacing, ego-less, almost Budda-like qualities of Conservative commentators.....who, no doubt, bicycle to work, so that they might not offend THEIR limo drivers. Chill out Right Wingers, and just take two more Viagras. But do me a favor- and DON'T call me in the morning . The real question we should be asking is : Did CurrentTV simply USE Keith to gain attention and higher ratings? They KNEW what they were getting! Did they lure him with big bucks, and then drop him when they were done? Yes, we all know that Keith injects emotion and passion into his commentary, into his intelligent and incisive reporting, and into his humor....all of which makes his program interesting, as well as informative. He's forceful, honest, and direct: you FEEL his pain, you FEEL his anger, and you FEEL his heart-felt sincerity when he covers a story. And he covers it well. He's NEVER just another talking head! If Keith is absent from CurrentTV, then I too will be absent from CurrentTV. For Keith is one of the best - hands down- as evidenced by his outstanding coverage of OWS during the past year. I wish him well, and hope that he is back on the air soon. We need his unique voice and viewpoint!

17. Take a deep breath and count to 10 (or as close as you can get)

Well, I am not sure that I understood all of your points. For starters, I have no problem at all with you asking a Right Winger to take two viagras, but I don't care whether you ask him to call you in the morning or not, that is your business. Honestly, I am not sure what your nightly escapades have to do with anything, but to each his own.

Second, I have never see CurrentTV, so they must not doing a great job of promoting themselves. Are you saying that they were done with Keith? What happened? They just decided that they were doing so well that they did not need their rockstar anymore? Somebody with such star power as Keith Oberman? Surprising that somebody would just decide that they suddenly do not have a need for him as you suggest. Lastly, if I were you, I would contact the people at Current TV immediately to let them know you will not listen anymore with Keith gone. I am sure that they may call him back immediately. Then again, if they don't need him, it wouldn't matter if you stopped watching.

6. This video did make someone look bad...

but it wasn't Olbermann. I normally don't like to comment on posts that i don't care for, but I do think KO should be defended for all the good he has done. He was brave, eloquent and truthful at a time when television news was the right-wing debating the far right-wing. Tens of millions of people in the country had no voice whatsoever on television and he gave them one. No small feat.

I'm somewhat at a loss as to figure out the purpose of this video. Oh well.

21. Wow, you make it sound like Keith died

The way that you talk about him in the past tense, you would think that the guy died. He is still alive and well, with all of his great passion, vision and eloquence that he always has. The only slight difference is that now nobody will have him on their TV show, so it is not the end of the world. Cheer up, he is still the same, great Keith Olberman.

I'm an award winning film-maker (Columbia Pictures.) I'm also one of the first YouTubers accepted into their Partner's Program, and I've be asked to join Maker Studios new Polypop.com website. Beyond that, I'm just a blogger and a film maker joining in the Great Conversation. I kind of thought that was what DU was for.

25. lots of things.

Earned three college degrees, an associate's, a bachelor's in biology and a doctorate in law.

Worked as a legal secretary and court reporter for 25 years. Went to law school at night while working full time at the courthouse and cranking out transcripts. Took five years to earn a Juris Doctor.

Earned 3 GIA certificates in Diamond Grading and Colored Stone grading.

Playing music since I was five years old. Took many years of lessons. 12 lessons on piano. ten years on violin, also voice lessons training for two years to sing opera in German, Italian and French. Sang in many church choirs. Was music director at a Unitarian Fellowship. My voice teacher was a student of Eleanor Steber.

Went to numerous music camps in high school. At age sixteen was playing pieces at music camp such as the Firebird Suite, Also Sprach Zarathustra, Grand Canyon Suite, Finale of Shostakovich's Fifth Symphony, Overture to Der Freischutz, Intermezzo from Goyescas. At this music camp the choir I was in sang the Mozart Requiem. There were two concerts every week for five weeks -- one orchestra, one chorus.

My senior high school orchestra played the Finale of the New World Symphony by Dvorak at University Interscholastic League contest and made an A. We played the Waltz from the Serenade for Strings by Tchaikovsky for our string number, and made an A. We played the Prelude to the Third Act of Lohengrin for our Overture and made an A. I was 17 at the time.

Played in several excellent high school and college and community orchestras. My college orchestra played The Rite of Spring and The Miraculous Mandarin Ballet Suite by Bartok, Rachmaninoff Symphonic Dances.

Played under the direction of Nicolas Slonimsky and Carmen Dragon. Played in a college orchestra with Vladimir Viardo as soloist in the Prokofief Third Piano Concerto, winner of the 1993 Van Cliburn Competition.

Composed music for a student project my daughter was in in 8th grade, and it was directed by an actual director with hollywood experience. Used a Kurzweil Synthesiser and Cakewalk software.

Lead actress in two amateur plays in Houston.

Sang soprano in the chorus of The Elixir of Love, by Gaetano Donizetti, at Opera in the Heights. Sung in the original italian, of course.

Member of Houston Women's Caucus for Art. Created art exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, in conjunction with a weekend cultural conference called Hindu/Houston, about the Gujarati language and the state of Kannada. Participated in the annual Houston Artcrawl for several years. Learned how to paint frescoes.

I know how to sew and make my own patterns. That is called pattern drafting.

tutored people in college chemistry.

Took Spanish and Latin courses in high school.

Do I need anything else to justify my existence?

(Damn, a Juris Doctor? That alone is impressive, combined with the other stuff, my hats off to you. I always like meeting people that have multiple abilities. It's very cool.

I am still working towards my PhD, have degrees though, in computer animation, accounting, economics, military science, Respiratory therapy, (and practice Kendo) -I get bored, and end up in school )

Now, where was I?

29. Amazing Video!Like your Avatar, that shows everyone your a giant flying far above us lesser mortals

Your sterling "credentials" and the fact your works will be posted on such a great place like Polypop.com

Polypop.com that has such literary gems like:

"Uncle Sloppy's Pleasure Circus
by John Freeman

Featuring: Sarge!, Hippies Are Dumb, Art-Fags, Retarded and other hilarious and horrific comix. "

Intellectual stuff... it must be. Because you, great one, associate yourself with it.

...polypop.com a place, where works of searing literary intellect are dumped in a sort of elephant's graveyard of "intellectual" gems.

Their worth and yours for that matter, far beyond me and others on the board to comprehend.

I look forward to seeing what you dump there. Maybe something like "Uncle Sloppy part Deux"?

That a place like polypop.com will take you, it shows everyone you are obviously an unappreciated genius...

Also, looking at the technical acumen of your videos, I think with five or ten years more of hard work and practice, you may even achieve the technical and content qualities of such luminaries and giants of the industry, as James O Keefe or Andrew Breitbart.

Keep up the good work sir!

35. Puccini was the hitmaker of his day - sorta like the Paul McCartney of the opera

from 1890 to 1924.

This kid, Alexei Sultanov, won the Van Cliburn competition in 1989, when he was 19 years old, by UNANIMOUS vote of the judges. I saw him play a recital in Houston in 1991.

Our local critic at the Post, Carl Cunningham, had the nerve to call this amazing genius "Tarzan of Uzbekistan".

His career was tragically cut short by a stroke in 2000 and he died in 2005, aged 35.

Some people have no shame. Carl Cunningham is one of them.

Here's video of him playing the Rachmaninoff 2nd Piano Concerto when he was nineteen:
