People especially law enforcement need to know what this guy has been up to. A lot of people have brushed him off as just a conspiracy kook for far too long when in fact he's VERY dangerous.

The killings inspired by Beck and Jones and others. Real life examples are widely reported online, some can be laid directly to his words. My own respresentatives, senators and governor have been the subject of the hatefests O'Reilly and Beck set up. Those eventually resulted in arrests, but O'Relly and Beck were not called to account for any of it.

They are all physically - thus personally - cowards and not dangerous in person. Thus not personally. They stay behind their microphones and incite killing. Re-read the OP. The premise is that Jones is himself - in his own person - thus the word personally - threatened LEO's and should be liable to arrest. This was merely his latest 'commercial.'

His despicable public displays and daily rants are covered by the First as interpreted by law. Some believe the old 'shouting fire in a crowded theatre' and incitement to riot' charges still exist. They no longer appear to have a place legally.

Even direct threats against the president have been cleared in court as political speech and prosecutions have failed. Jones yelling is to get others to act and they are physically, legally and personally responsible for it under the law, not him. Even the defintions of treason and sedition are so narrow now as to be virtually worthless. And never applied to speech.

We have unlimited power to spew our vomit from the Id anywhere, in youtube videos, newspapers, social media, television, radio and what have you, including your condeming my title and your presuming to school me on the action of demagogues.

I know full well what they are and who they have caused the deaths of, but know that they, personally, won't get physically involved. The contemporary Goebbels don't get arrested for anything. They just light the fuse and make millions off of it.

Your calling me 'to tell' victims and linking one word by me to their deaths, as if I'd made a callous dismissal of the civil disorder and violence these guys historcially inspire could be called horrendous, too, if you want to play that game, but I won't play with you.

I doubt anyone on DU has gone after Alex Jones and his calls for revolution more than I have done consistently and in depth. You must not have seen my posts on Infowars, Jones and his imovies. A youtube search shows his constant attacks on PBO since 2008. Slick movies that would make the Nazis green with envy. They have been online to view for free to view, for sale as DVDs and even shown in movie theaters.

He' made an industry of fear and hate. Yet it's ignored as 'business' or 'entertainment' or 'criticism.' So many people have been taken it's spawned a very strong subculture, or cult, that is not going to go away.

I have done you a courtesy to reply tat length, but doubt you will have anything positive to say about my intrepretation of the OP or of Alex Jones and others like him. We are done now.

On another note, I have worked with the largest police organization in Texas, 18,000 members. Most are Republicans, so I wonder what they think when they are faced with this kind of crap?
