The Beatitudes are some of my favorite Jesus quotations. Too bad we never hear them repeated by those who claim to believe almost militantly in Him. That "least of My brethren" stuff - completely ignored, sadly enough. And that's the most important part!

Being Jodo Shinshu and all... but I never understood the connection between Easter and Chocolate. Halloween I understand, though its not a religious day. In Japan, there is a day when its talked about Rabbits (Similar to the Easter bunnies) on the Moon pounding Mochi.. which is a treat in Japan. More about that here:

about chocolate being food of the gods, or used in ceremonies for either the Inca.. or the aztecs or maybe the Maya. Maybe it was all three since the cocoa bean was in abundance.
