(I also know about the conflict going on between Buddhist and Islamic people, but that was not the way of the Buddha, even though he grew up the Son of a King, (In India) and became a general. 6. In grad school

We had an evangelist come to campus every Friday to yell at us, and I tried the whole there are gay animals argument like Pakman did with this nut. The evangelist came back with, "Man was given dominion over the Earth, and man's sin covers the entire Earth, so that's why there are gay animals."

I yelled back, "So there are some gay monkeys going at it right now in the rain forest, and it's somehow humanity's fault?" He chose to ignore me at that point, but I would routinely yell, "Tell us about the gay monkeys, damn it!"

For several months afterward, people who had been there when I did that would call me, "Gay Monkey Man."

Then two years later, I went to a talk given by James Randi. I was the third person (other than Randi) to arrive, and it was apparent that all three of us felt we knew each other from somewhere. Finally, one of them asked, "Excuse me, but are you... Gay Monkey Man?"

That got Randi to stop his preparations and look up at us and smile quizzically. I told him it was a long story and involved an evangelist.
