Obama's Executive Order: A preparation for war with Iran?

Late last week President Obama signed The National Defense Resources Preparedness Executive Order. This order gives him the authority to take hold of all of the US assets that are necessary to secure peace in times of war, essentially declaring martial-law in America. Many believe that this step was taken to prepare for a war with Iran. Reporters have questioned the Obama administration on if the recent move was in preparation for war with Iran, but the question was laughed off. Charlie McGrath, founder of WideAwakeNews.com, joins us to discuss if this new Executive Order is a laughing matter.

Why the hell would he need that EO in order to go to war with Iran?

Every President since Johnson has proved they need no such powers to go to war with any country of their choosing. The military-industrial complex will ENSURE the resources are available.

Obama has been telling the war hawks to cool it with their bullshit. Why doesn't Russia Today "report" that, I wonder?

The EO was signed by Clinton in 1995 and is being renewed by Obama. It doesn't have to do with war, it has to do with the strategic oil reserves and giving him the ability to use them. This is a political pivot. Yes, the language was changed, but we are talking about an EO originally that was signed before 9/11. I don't know what Bush did about this while he was in office, it's possible he renewed it and it was never announced or it was buried in the news.

Obama is doing everything he can to hold down oil prices, but as president he can only do so much with a jackass Republican majority in the House.

Russia today is about as reliable of a source as the Chinese Communist Party

A bright spot in showing what the American Media will not show. However, stuff as this video is pure propaganda and shame on the OP for linking it.
