Published on Feb 14, 2014
Video description by franz morhart:
In a video recorded in 2013 and published online on Thursday, Brother Donny Reagan of Johnson City, Tennessee. proved himself to be one of the most openly racist pastors in America by plainly stating saying what most Teabaggers think.
Reading from a prepared text, Brother Reagan warns the congregation of the Happy Valley Church that he is probably "going to make some people mad."
And then, To the "amens" of his congregation, he makes an abomiation of the teachings of Jesus Christ, lauchings into a highly offensive racist rant, where rails against interracial marriage and mixed race children, and wonders why we can't have segration of black and white people, whom he refers to as to 'colored people.'
At the 1.14 mark the pastor says, "Now friends, I'm not very smart."
Amen to that.
Said in 2013, posted in 2014. And that is not scripture he's quoting there, either, but he talks about 'God, glory' and 'nationalities.' Huh.
Teabaggers spelling.'hybreed' instead of hybrid. Just like those I've argued with online.
They will vote in 2014. That's a true prophecy, just it did in 2010. Is this who we want to rule over us and make laws?

(53,949 posts)He got one damn thing correct: "Now friends, I'm not very smart"! It made my heart hurt. I 'love' how he rationalizes that he is not a racist because he thinks "colored" girls are beautiful. It's the new, "some of my best friends are..."
What year is this again?!

His continued references from his Teabagger PROPHET who can't spell, or else was making a little joke about 'breeding' show an intense interest in black women.
Last time I discussed that?
On the air in the mid-1970s with a member of the local Nazi Party who was invited to do a call-in show on our city's Pacifica station. In the interest freedom of speech and equal time, you know?
He was very concerned about racial purity and race mixing. He went on for quite a while about how the evil Communists, Democrats and Jews (they always have to get that in there) wanted to defile the white race and breed them out of existence.
I called in and made nice. Or rather he thought I was, since I've found them to be the intellectual and emotional equivalent of a Libertarian or Paulite, quite easily fooled, in love with powerful men.
In those days, their ilk on college campuses were either in the Young Republicans or the YAF, Young Americans for Freedom. We used to call them the Hitler youth at college, same fanatical zeal as our young crop of current RWNJ rabid dogs.
A little different from the typical Dittohead or Tea Party Patriot, who are slower, more heavy handed and more likely to grunt like pigs. These guys really do want to be loved, and really want you to agree. If you don't they explode in a fireball of offended angst.
He began to talk about how black and brown women were throwing themselves at him and all other white men, trying to seduce them. I let him go on for a while and then expressed that I never had any desires for men of color, 'just wasn't interested.'
He was greatly heartened, as he probably thought I'd stay true to the white race. The enthusiasm in his voice was pitiful, almost.*
I let him go on, and finally said, he must have something wrong with him if he was interested in all women of other races. That he must be a sex addict, and it was his fault that he was lusting after all those women of color.
He tried to defend himself, saying it was all 'their fault' and they were doing it to him deliberately all the time. I may have called him a male chauvinist pig at that point, I don't remember. The interview rapidly went downhill from there, and eventually he left in a huff, IIRC, and I'm pretty sure I do on that.
*This was just a culmination of my and some of my girlfriends harassment of the KKK, John Birch Society and Nazi Party. You see, back then, they had their numbers in the phone book. Right there for everyone to see, KKK, JBS, Nazi Party.
When you called them, there was a recorded message that played. It was in their own homes, not like these clowns promoting race wars and facism on the cheap had the money to have an office. We made a practice of calling after midnight.
If you listened to the entire spiel, which was usually different flavors of the World Zionist Conspiracy, Liberals selling out America, the plans of Blacks and Communists, with a few of the weekly news events and who was on the hate list that week. In those days, they had a lot of people to hate on and feel oppressed by since Democrats were dominant in government, both nationally and even in that southern state.
But if you didn't hang up...
A voice would come on. In our case, we got a young guy who always announced himself as 'Stormtrooper Greg.' That was their little secret way to get new members. And we always called on the weekdays, knowing he had to go to work the next day. We did too, but what the hell.
When he asked who was calling, we'd say Jewish Defense League, NAACP or something. He would sputter in rage and tell us how dare we call him! After a pulling that phone prank a few times, and him begging us to not keep awake since he had to to go work in the morning, finally, Greg gave up answering the phone.
Yes, we were bad people. I don't know if I'd do that now. But, I was not so nice then. And I never called random people, with stuff like 'Is Prince Albert in the Can?' jokes. I wonder if they are still listed in the phone book...

(356 posts)that there are people who feel they can use their written word to justify their hatred, bigotry and down right evil but when you think of the great amount of people who 'follow' these baboons, it does get to the point that maybe we should worry.

I'd be interested to hear this guy's views on dog breeding...
And while we're on the subject, and speaking of corn, I wonder how this guy feels about GMOs? Does he know that every time he eats corn it's 95% likely that he's putting an abomination against God into his body?

(53,661 posts)Seems as if he wanted to put the thought in the Ditthohead brains in the audience those were actually verses of scripture.
And these people vote! They put in Senator Corkerm elected a GOP governor and state house...
Who went for it all with the RTW gangsters to intimidate workers trying to unionize the VW plant in Tennessee.
I'll bet that was his subject this week as part of the blitz of radio and television ads along with billboards to scare the workers into rejecting the union contract. And this is the same gang who used racial slurs against the auto bailout, an did it again this week.
Pretty consistent behavior there. Just check out the threads.

(7,160 posts)I suggest he submit his DNA so he can see he has many different types of blood running through his evil self I thought these creeps were dead. His congregation is just as sick and that's scary.

(53,661 posts)I'll bet he was against the VW auto plant getting unionized. These are the kind of politics that elected all GOP rule in the state of Tennessee.
It's going to be hard to turn this around and unfortunately they are likely to continue to vote for the wrong thing. That is a very gullible congregation there and I know people who live there who feel bad about the culture of this.
Never forget, these folks never fail to vote. They have their own beliefs of what America is supposed to be and have seen the results of their votes. And we all have to live with it.
Obama and Biden are trying to apply pressure to protect the right to unionize the VW plant. I've posted quite a lot on this as it is very dear to me. And the racial slurs were employed by Corker and pals in that issue, too.

(17,911 posts)...that is once I found out where they're located. Elizabethton, TN....Carter county... in the northeast corner of TN. It could easily have been an alternate site for the movie Deliverance. The Watauga and Doe rivers would have fit nicely, with extras galore wandering out of the woods.
An incredibly beautiful area, particularly on the NC/TN border and around Watuaga Lake. Lots of very nice people, but also plagued with some of the most backward and reprehensible excuses for human beings this side of the tribal regions of Pakistan. This clown being a case in point. The only place I've actually been that's comparable is Newport TN, in Cocke County.

(1,333 posts)By the way, if you haven't seen Cloud Atlas, make sure to try and watch it as soon as possible. This is the question that troubled me when I was still a theist and its a question I would like the pastor to answer me. Is reviving a premature baby going against God's will? cos it seems like God wanted to take him/her back for some reason. This same with interracial marriages and regardless of how you answer, show the prove from the bible/koran/torah agreeing with your answer.
Well, uh...the question he does pose is, if God created the world, how do we know what things we can change and what things must remain sacred and inviable?

(4,695 posts)a minute; he probably would still no get it; that all humans have 46 chromosomes and every human is the all ready the result of a recombination of those 46 (except a very few disabling genetic conditions). We are all the same species and phenotypes/appearances change according to what genes are turned on and off, by the conditions in the environment like skin color pigments, for one.
Hateful two-face actor speaks like he is educated on the subject. Dummies in the audience are in awe too as they have rejected Science.

A man of God, a Pastor?! Oh no, no you are not. You and your Teabag followers are spawn of the devil himself. You think you are better than the rest of us?! Really? You are the lowest of the low in the chain of our human species.
Devoid of humanity your soul is dead.
You are indeed not smart.

That's sounds like I'm not a racist, some of my best friends are black/hispanic etc. The same person wouldn't let/want their son/daughter dating/marrying someone of another race.
