TYT: TYT Mocks God, Going To Hell - Randall TerryVia RightWingWatch.org: "Last week, Randall Terry released a video demanding that we and others acknowlege his primary "victory" in Oklahoma over President Obama , which we gladly did. But now it seems that Terry is not particularly pleased with the coverage that his video received and so he is back with a new video, this one warning us, Jezebel, The Huffington Post, TPM Muckraker, and The Young Turks that he will testify against us all on the Day of Judgment because we promote murder while mocking God and His servants and are thus condemning ourselves to Hell...".* Ana Kasparian and Cenk Uygur break it down on The Young Turks.

3. I hate to be stereotypical but...
|
He was kind of camping it up queen-like in the very beginning.
And why would an all-knowing, all-powerful God need any kind of testimony from him when it came to Judgment Day? I kind of picture him as Epstein from Welcome Back, Kotter, trying to get God's attention when it's Cenk's turn to be judged. "Oh, Mister Ga-awd! Mister Ga-awd! I want to tell you about this guy, Mister Ga-awd!" And God's all like, "Randall, I told you you could sit and watch the proceedings even after you yelled at Me for letting in liberals, but only if you were quiet. Now sit down and shut up or so help Me Me I'll kick you out of Heaven." TlalocW |

5. Not only that. The question is...
|
why should they have to CARE endlessly what 'will' happen to us on that highly hypothetical day?
Why don't they live their GOD-FEARING life and let us live our GOD-FEARLESS ones IN PEACE? |

6. The great advantage of religion is it gives you the ability to look at everyone else
|
and say "you're going to hell" (without being judgmental!). It's the ultimate fringe benefit for all the time they put in sitting in church.

8. Rev Terry is right. 'Mocking the unborn' is a bad habit,
|
but I gave up coffee last week, and need SOME kind of stimulant to energize me in the morning. The 'Rev' might want to re-think his 'promoting murder' accusations though, because he's connected to actual murderers like Scott Roeder and James Kopp.
He's a carpet-bagger in Oklahoma, too. He's from Binghamton, NY, and ran for Congress in FL in '06, so he's giving Romney a run for his money, in terms of 'number of states claimed as legal residence'. More like a drifter than a reverend. |

Last edited Wed Mar 21, 2012, 06:30 PM USA/ET - Edit history (2) I would NOT want to be in the one that featured Emmy-award winning super-bigots and believers in magic.
Its not even close for me...I want absolutely nothing to do with the horrific concept of eternal life or an existence spent in eternal praise to ANYTHING. Send me far far away from that....and since I literally cannot stand these people, the joke is on them! To me, "hell" would be being forced to spend any length of time with them...so in order to make hell a reality, "god" would need to send me to "heaven" where I would be tormented by believers! "hell" would be my respite! |

18. Oh he's only a member of the tiny fringe
|
The tiny fringe that birthed a national powerhouse organization that has exerted massive influence on GOP leaders for 25 years, that generated 40,000 people willing to be arrested on his say so; that saw 25,000 strong rallies and spawned at least two killers.
He's not a real influential representative of the faith, like mainstream prechers, like a guy who drones on about love and tolerance in front of a dozen septuagenarians every Sunday morning. |
