Papantonio: Sorry GOP, Obamacare Is Working

This segment originally aired on the October 27th, 2013 episode of Ring of Fire on Free Speech TV. The Tea Party GOP shut down the federal government for almost 3 weeks because of their hatred of Obamacare. And what they don’t want the public to know is that Obamacare is working. Ring of Fire’s Mike Papantonio discusses this with attorney Howard Nations.

Once Verizon fixed their problems from Sunday and Monday, I have had no difficulty getting on the site, other than early in the work day. By noon eastern each day, the system has been easy and fast to access. I am able to get to all the plans and the results are no longer inconsistent.

What are the Republicans complaining about now? Mostly little things, such as the "Learn More" not using exact ages and therefore producing misleading numbers. Yes, that is poorly presented and completely worthless. But it isn't an essential part of he system. Simply start the application process and you will see the exact plans that pertain to you individually, with precise prices and an accurate calculation of the subsidies.

We need to stop saying the website is broken. I do believe there are significant problems remaining on the back-end after a person chooses the program. Apparently the links to the insurance companies are not working reliably yet. But if that is fixed by the end of November that should be no problem.

There is absolutely no reason to delay anything at this point.
