Thom Hartmann: How about a "well-regulated" economy instead of guns?

Neil McCabe, Guns & Patriots Newsletter joins Thom Hartmann. There is no such thing as an absolute right - and the right to bear arms is no exception. You can’t just run into a crowded movie theater and yell “Fire” and you shouldn’t be allowed to buy a deadly weapon over the internet without any check on my criminal or mental history. Sensible restrictions on firearm purchases are a no brainer - but so are economic policies that create well-paying jobs and sustainable incomes. If we want gun laws that protect the “general welfare” of the people - we also need a “well-regulated” economy that provides opportunity for all.
