2. I guess I should have watched it all before commenting

I don't like the fact that they are advocating for animal products even though they are recommending that you switch to "friendlier" (free range, grass fed, etc..) "products", I don't believe that is much of a solution at all, in fact it's so ripe for abuse and misrepresentation that I think it has the potential to make things worse. The only real way to boycott cruelty is to stop buying animal products altogether. Real animal lovers are vegan.

The matrix is a good metaphor, as it is a lie pulled over our eyes that we enable because it is more enjoyable than the actual reality. Factory farms and corporate food in general is a nasty business.

Degrowth, Slow Money, Permacultre, and Relocalization are terms you should search,. learn the truth and work to change your own life and those that come in contact with you. The corporate path is a dead end and a factory of suffering, do not support it.
