For anyone interested in following this race. I try to keep the Hawaii Group updated: http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=forum&id=1047

Thanks for posting RandySF! I've read that when the first Americans arrived in San Francisco before the "Mexican-American War" they found an encampment of several hundred Hawaiian whalers and family. Aloha!

this fellow will always be a tool for corporate interests. He will be a right-wing democrat.

about this election. The vast majority of Americans remember who put big boulders in the way of tax hikes for the very, very rich. And those who do not know it now will know it by November.

Like when you put Hawaii schools on a furlough schedule for no good reason?

Notice her scurrying for the middle. Nowhere is there an "R" indicating shame and obstructionism.
Never, never, never vote for a Repub-thug.

No but seriously, there's a lot of ill-will against her in the State of Hawaii for knocking 2 days a month off the school year and then a year later finally making an attempt to find the funds to restore those days. The people of the State of Hawaii won't forget that. There are also some really prime issues that can be made about her appointees mismanagement of state funds in converting them into auction rate securities (http://www.stateline.org/live/printable/story?contentId=484998). Linda Lingle gambled, Hawaii's families lost.
