Anonymous Vs Bank of America

On February 25, a leak made by Anonymous has been released involving Bank of America's intelligence reports distributed via @AnonymousIRC. Apparently, AnonymousIRC claims that bank of America is taking down all the paste created on the leak. Obviously this is something Bank of America wants to keep hush from the general public. So to oblige their request, CyberWarZone has decided to publish Anonymous findings for the whole world to see.

Torrent of leak can be found at link:

2. Formerly known as' The Bank of Italy.'

"The Bank of Italy was founded in San Francisco, California, USA, in 1904 by Amadeo Giannini. It grew by a branch banking strategy to become the Bank of America, the world's largest commercial bank with 493 branches in California and assets of $5 billion in 1945.

The bank was established to serve working class citizens of the area, especially Italian Americans living in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood. The bank survived the San Francisco earthquake and fire of 1906 and was one of the first to offer loans to businesses to help rebuild the city.

The Bank of Italy building, which later became a National Historic Landmark, was opened in 1908. Giannini had his office space in an open area on the first floor. In 1909, the bank began opening branches in other cities and had 24 branches by 1918, at which time it was the first state-wide branch banking system.

The Bank of Italy merged with the smaller Bank of America, Los Angeles in the 1928. In 1930, Giannini changed the name "Bank of Italy" to "Bank of America." As Chairman of the new, larger Bank of America, Giannini expanded the bank throughout his tenure, which ended with his death in 1949.

Amadeo Giannini and the "Bank of Italy" were also the basis for the classic 1932 Frank Capra movie American Madness which was an original screenplay titled Faith by Robert Riskin.

Bank of America merged with NationsBank of Charlotte, North Carolina in 1998. While NationsBank was the nominal survivor, the merged bank took the Bank of America name and operates under the original charter for Bank of Italy."

6. Bank of America reeks. It's practices amount to extortion.

I personally know three honest people who B of A has gone after for something resulting from their own shoddy paperwork that happened more than 6 years ago.

8. Excuse my ignorance, but could someone put this OP in words I can understand?...

"taking down all the paste"?

Who is CyberWarZone? An arm of Anonymous?

And I thought I knew what Bit Torrent was....kinda. What does the download involve?

Thanks for any help. Sometimes the technology gets ahead of an old person like me.

12. So what is a person to do?...

On second thought, those who could really work with the info will find a way around it. I was just curious.

14. The video isn't actually related to the link....

So ignore the link and focus on the video.

Here's a clue for the OP. Any link that requires you to install an executable to complete the download of a non-executable is likely to install something really NASTY and likely will not give you the file you wanted in the first place.

I know someone who clicked something in their email and it installed a bunch of shortcuts to porn sites on their desktop before it wiped out all their restore points and then scrambled their screen. He said he had to reformat and reinstall everything from scratch.
