They're owned by a right-winger, but their current 'bad guy', who is an absolute fool is a tea party fuck and completely mocking the entire idea they present ... I guess it's all in the name of ratings, but it's funny how he's constantly pissing on America and everyone in the crowd is booing. Reminds me of the 80s and 90s when the bad Euro or Middle Eastern wrestlers would rail against Americana.

A Mexican wrestler as their new Latino "babyface".

They did great ratings among Hispanics when they pushed Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio.

9. You can't pigeonhole Vince McMahon, Drunken Irishman

He's a Republican no doubt but he pretty much has his own particular views about subjects which may not line up with the party line.
Besides as a promoter, he's looking for conflict no matter what.
That's what makes for good stories for the matchups.

Vince—ideally anyway—does what's good for business...his wrestling business.
And if that calls for promotion of "left-wing" types as heroes, that's what he'll do.
Remember at the end of the day Vince allowed himself to be the billionaire bad guy that working class Stone Cold Steve Austin beat down in the middle of the ring each & every week.
Working class Austin was the hero while supposedly silver spoon McMahon was the villain.
Vince McMahon is a very interesting man with a background most don't expect.
He may be rich now but he doesn't like & I don't think has ever liked snooty aristocrats.

Whatever you do, don't insult him or his business like Glenn Beck did without coming face to face.
Vince will make sure you'll regret it through his program.
John Lucas

P.S.: I was totally against Linda McMahon gaining her political seat but am totally fine with the McMahons in the wrestling business.

during the campaign. Vince LOOOVES to use his platform to attack people whom he perceives to have 'wronged' him and it doesn't matter if they are of the left or the right. Does anyone remember the RTC stable (Right to Censor) that spoofed Brent Bozell and the PTC? Also on his 'hit list' have been:
* Stan Kroenke (owner of the Denver Nuggets) for cancelling an arrangement with Vince regarding the use of the Pepsi Center that had been organized months in advance. While Vince was right, he spent a friggin' entire show ragging on Kroenke and had a Lakers/Nuggets match up where all the faces (good guys for you non wrestling fans) were wearing Lakers jerseys. Guess what jerseys the heels (bad guys) were wearing?
* The billionaire Ted skits which started out ragging on all the old guys that WCW had employed but ended up calling Ted Turner a racist , mocking his father's death, his political views and WCW's steroid policy.
* Before he became Triple H, Paul Levesque was Hunter Hearst Helmsley: Connecticut blue blood. Now you may ask from what real life feud did Vince pull this from? Well, in the early '90's, Vince moved to Greenwich and apparently his neighbors looked down his nose at him for his promotion of 'low brow' entertainment.
With a track record like that, I get the feeling that some Tea Party loon began pressuring Linda to move in their direction on certain policy planks and she resisted (like any sane person would). This is most likely where this is coming from.

Accurate history there.
Vince is indeed like you said.
He attacks certain figures through his program.
Yet you can't always pin him down to party platform.

Strangely enough he's friends with Donald Trump (WrestleMania IV & V held in Trump Plaza) yet even more surprising you didn't see him follow up behind Trump's foolish charges against Obama.
In 2008, Barack even appeared on WWE TV doing a take on The Rock with "Do you smell what Barack is cookin'?"

Nothing really came of it, in that WCW would not engage them, but they still hail it as the moment they took control of the Monday Night War.

In the back of my mind it's possible Beck is in cahoots with them, but Vince has never run from someone's offhanded comment to the media about his company and made a mountain out of it.
