1. Why?

Explain before one clicks on a questionable video.

4. Why is it a "questionable video"? Fast forward to 1:15 and you'll see what it's about.

I agree, it would be nice to say that it's about the impact of your plastic trash on other species far away.

2. When we throw away plastic bottle caps we never expect them to kill.

The evidence of our irresponsibility is everywhere. You won't see this on FOX NEWS. They would have to admit that it's time for world action.

9. It's three minutes long. You're on the internet anyway. Take a risk.

Live a little.

6. I can't imagine clicking on something by a poster

who calls himself pro gun.

Just like I wouldn't look at something by someone named pro syphilis.

8. It's a really thought-provoking film trailer.

It portrays one more way we who were supposedly given dominion over this outpost, have allowed our greed and laziness muck things up. Of course, if you're already resigned to the idea that we're gonna be done in by an assteriod - or we're gonna (some of us) be evacuated by the Rapture - then don't bother watching.

I DO have to agree someone who chooses to call themselves PRO-GUN-OWNER would be a deterrent from viewing what they've posted. Pollutants like plastic kill after the fact. Guns were concieved from the outset to end life. No one's ever produced evidence that our species was once facing a plague of bullseye targets - so that shoots down (sorry!) that theory.

11. I don't know if I'd call it prejudice.

Thru my 68 years, I've come to the notion that if something gives you clues that it might be dangerously hot, it's best not to grab it to see what's underneath.

Edit to add.......... Of course, I DID watch this vid - even tho I'd seen it before.

15. its funny how you guys are biased by my choosen handle.

Yes I own a gun. Yes I have progressive views. I have probably killed more creatures with the bottle caps from the mountain dew that I drank in my 20's the I will ever kill with my gun. I feel bad about the destruction to our environment by consumerism.

My gun will eventually bio degrade. Plastic is for ever.

I agree that the mass shootings are a problem. I agree we need to have background checks at gun shows, and private sales. I do not think that taking guns away from law abiding citizens will in any way prevent criminals from getting guns, but in may make mass murder a bit easier for them.

By all means though, feel free to dis-credit every thing I say or post because of your preconception of me based on the fact I own a gun.

16. It's not the fact that you own a gun

but the fact that you flaunt your stance in the wake of so many babies being massacred.

And yes, you said it..... it automatically discredits you.

7. Of course it is appalling -

What seriously appalls me is that people still throw this shit out the window of the car. Believe me. I live at the coast. After a big weekend, you wouldn't BELIEVE the amount of crap on the beach, roadways, etc. There ARE areas of this country where throwing your crap out the window is NORMAL. A lot of folks seem to think that if they bag it, it's somehow OK to toss it. Places all around the world where it happens. I find it unbelievable that it is still going on, and, honestly, gives me little hope for the future of my species on this garden planet.

13. The question isn't our messiness. The question is that we buy it at all. Never buy plastic anything.

Buying plastics supports the fossil fuel industry.
