The Hateful Likud Charter Calls for Destruction of Any Palestinian State
By Jonathan Weiler
Since virtually every comment on Hamas in American media includes the assertion that the groups Charter rejects Israels right to exist, its worth noting the following from the Likud Platform of 1999:
a. The Jordan river will be the permanent eastern border of the State of Israel.
b. Jerusalem is the eternal, united capital of the State of Israel and only of Israel.
The government will flatly reject Palestinian proposals to divide Jerusalem

excerpted from translation:
3 strategic target setting: turn Gaza to Tel Aviv. Israeli city blooms with hostile civilians minimum.
4 the definition says: "Oh, fighting evil and woe to the home" in light of these four points for Israel to immediately do the following: 1. the IDF will open spaces on the Sinai border and near the sea that concentrate on the civilian population far from the built-up areas and launch and tunneling. These areas will be set up tents to camps to locate relevant immigration targets.
Electricity and water for populated areas will be disconnected.
In the areas that were populated with iopgazo maximum firepower. The Hamas civil and military means and logistics will be eliminated to the ground.
3. the IDF around dissecting the Gaza Strip to length and wide, extending from the delegates, will take over areas that control and destroy nests of resistance should remain like this.
4. start by locating countries Israel and immigration quotas for refugees of Gaza. Looking to migrate to win economic assistance package and will be open to countries with significant economic potential.
The who insists on staying and proven that has no connection with Hamas will be required to sign a public statement about citizenship to Israel and will receive a blue identity card is similar to that of Arabs in East Jerusalem.
bold text mine to highlight the deeply evil, vile RACIST mindset of that government.

(7,321 posts)Is there a single word to describe forced evacuation of a population from a place that has been the homeland of a population for centuries? It seems to escape me at the moment.

(20,176 posts)I just need two state solution PNA peeps. We have them in the administration of Mahmoud Abbas.
If the average Gazan saw Israel and the PNA in the West Bank making real progress towards a two state solution because of diplomacy that Gaza was not because of war, Gaza would dump Hamas. The surest path for Israel to beat Hamas is to undermine Hamas by embracing pursuit of solutions with the West Bank and its elected officials. The Netanyahu regime doesn't do that because doing that undermines their continued electability and requires concessions.

(2,419 posts)Without a map explaining the import of these words, the Likud platform seems harmless compared to the Hamas Platform, which allegedly calls for the destruction of Israel.
Incidentally, I looked at two versions of the Hamas Platform and didn't find any explicit call for the destruction of Israel.
Clueless American Liberal horrified by the suffering in Gaza...

(53,661 posts)That was in 1999. What is the Likud charter say this year?
Hamas supposedly has renounced destruction of the Israeli state this year, so that assertion may be wrong, as well.
Their charter is like a party platform which can change annually and even change the charter.
Willing to read links to show otherwise. Other than that, Hamas and Likud are both sick, from what I've read of the words of a couple of Likud in office and a lot put out by Hamas.
They should be confined to a desert island to fight to the death and leave everyone else out of it. That's always my view on extremists who hate each others so much, let them have at it.
Instead they drag the rest of the people into their squabble and will never let go. Why should they, since it's not over their own dead bodies, is it?
That's what makes them vile and a danger to those who just want to have the life they dangle in front of them, but they never do get it if they fall for their war games.
UGH.
