Joe Believes in What He Says, Even When He Says He’s Not Saying It

There’s no denying Joe is straight. And I’m not talking about his sexuality, although in that regard he’s probably straight, too.

No, the kind of straight I mean is the straight in “straight-shooter” and ”straight-talker.” Because when Joe says something, he means it — even if he’s just implying it.

Take, for instance, his campaign video attacking his Democratic opponent, Marcy Kaptur.

“I’m not saying that Marcy Kaptor has the same belief system as someone in the Chinese Politburo,” says Joe at the start of the video. ”Or that she thinks its okay to kill unborn babies.”
