GOP lawmaker sees 'common denominator' in shooter, abortion

By Peter Sullivan

Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.), a leading House abortion opponent, says last week's shooting at a Planned Parenthood clinic should “only increase” efforts to defund the organization.

Franks said that the shooting at a clinic in Colorado on Friday is a reminder that both the shooter and Planned Parenthood disrespect human life.

“What this person did was evil, and it should remind us all of the common denominator that Planned Parenthood has with individuals like this who have no respect for innocent human life,” Franks told The Hill.

“It should only increase our commitment to defund organizations … that further this non-ethic of disregarding the sanctity of human life,” he added.
................................

"It is offensive and outrageous that some politicians are now claiming this tragedy has nothing to do with the toxic environment they helped create,” Planned Parenthood Vice President Dawn Laguens said in a statement on Sunday.

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) defended Republicans on Monday, saying the alleged shooter, Robert Dear Jr., is simply “a very evil, crazy guy.”

So a typical conservative then, only this one ACTED on what he believes.

Good thing most of the rest of them are Cowards, then?, is that what I'm hearing the Congressman say about his constituents?

What an ass.
