we spend our energy, money and time celebrating the proxy war of football

but we can't make sure our veterans get the support, the health care and the appreciation of a grateful nation

I don't understand ... all the monuments and we continue to love the war and hate the vet

have gotten in the last year. I have no doubt that that was and still is by design.

Danziger may also be saying that no "victory parade" was due, because there was no victory. Nobody wins a war, nobody ever will.
